IT’S A BOY! February 1, 2007

Sean Quinn Ramsey was born this morning (Feb 1st) at 2:27AM. He was a big baby, weighing in at 9lbs. 7oz. and 19.7 inches long. Lizzy delivered him completely natural, without any pain killers or an epidural, but she was in labor for about 22 hours and almost had to have a caesarean section because of the length of the labor.
We’re still at the hospital, and Mom and baby are currently resting well.

Congratulations! I found the first couple of days tiring, and found myself thinking that everyone had exaggerated how hard it was having kids-
there’s not too much for a dad to do at first (especially if you have mom-in-law helping you out-you should look into that!), but then it does in deed get hard.But it’s totally worth it! Congratulations you two!

Congratulations Ben and Liz! We just had our baby on Dec. 11th so I know what it’s like. 22 hours is a long time, I feel for you Ben, women in labor are sometimes hard to deal with. FOR GOOD REASON though
I will check out the pics you post on BenandLiz when i get a moment, but congratulations and I am sorry to hear about your grandmother.

CONGRATS! Enjoy that new baby boy! I can’t believe Liz delivered a 9lb baby naturally?!?!? What was she thinking? God created drugs for a reason. I was dilated only 2 cenimeters and into labor for 6 hours and was begging for my epidural, which they gave… thankfully! but then, I’m a weenie.
Give us a call if you need anything! I would love for our babies to get together. Beth is, as of today, 9lbs 4oz. Will be three weeks old on Tuesday.

It’s been a year since I’ve had my own baby boy, and I can still remember the birth itself and holding my newborn son for the first time like it was yesterday. I can definitely relate.

Ben, you have some great pics there. I love the one of Daddy changing Sean! What a blessing. It made me cry to think of my own new-mommy days. Hey Guys. Congragulations. I’m so happy for you two, or I guess I should say three now. Is there anything y’all need for the baby.
